Greens Grade Granular Fertiliser containing Nutralene (8-10 Weeks Longevity) -
The following range of Granular Slow Release Fertilisers contains Nutralene.  Each ratio shows clearly the percentage of Nitrogen made up of Nutralene.  The remaining percentage of the Nitrogen is fast release.  The proportion of slow release will release Nitrogen over a period of 8-10 weeks while enriching the soil microbiology at the same time. 
Nutralene is a highly advanced Methylene Urea compound that releases Nitrogen in ‘tri-phase’ cycle to give controlled release of Nitrogen for up to 14 weeks.  The first portion of the Nutralene to release is the Urea, followed by the slowly available water soluble Nitrogen and finally the water insoluble Nitrogen.  In each stage of the cycle each release mechanism slightly overlaps to ensure that release of Nitrogen is completely controlled and the consistent feeding is without flushes of growth.  Nutralene is released by means of hydrolysis and soil microbial activity.  This means that it is not solely dependent on either soil moisture or temperature for its ideal release pattern and in addition the granule size does not affect the release rate of the Nitrogen source.

The products below contain Nitroform and Nutralene.  This will increase the slow release portion into a 5-6 month longevity instead of a 2-3 month.  Nitroform has many benefits within a slow release granular fertiliser which are:

Nitroform is a high Nitrogen plant food resulting when Urea and formaldehyde are reacted to form varying length polymers of Methylene Ureas (MU).  Nitroform contains 38% Nitrogen, over two thirds of which is water insoluble.  Chemically named Ureaform, Nitroform is unique among Nitrogen fertilisers because the MU molecules supply both N Nitrogen (food) and C Carbon (energy) to soil micro-organisms throughout the growing season.  They, in turn, gently and gradually release Nitrogen back to the soil in the Ammonium (NH4+) form.  With a C : N ratio of approximately to 1 to 1, Nitroform provides an excellent balance of these life-sustaining elements.

SCU Coated Slow-Release Granular Fertilisers –
TEES/FAIRWAY/OUTFIELD GRADE(3-4 Months Longevity)
Greenbest offers the following standard ratios, blended with a SCU coated Nitrogen.  This durable Sulphur coated Urea combined with a polyethylene skin, has microscopic cracks which allow the Urea (Nitrogen source) to release N slowly, by a process known as osmosis, over a 3-4 month period.  The coating is not affected by drastic temperature changes or excessive rainfall and it is suitable for turf, which has varying pH balances.  Excellent for use on sportsfields, fairways, golf tees and aprons, where one single application a year is required.  The use of this type of product cuts down unnecessary application costs and labour (fast release fertilisers), and its slow release action reduces the chance of leaching.  Supplied in 25 kg bags.

PCU Coated Slow-Release Granular Fertilisers –
TEES/FAIRWAY/OUTFIELD GRADE    (5-6 Months Longevity)
Now available as well as SCU (3-4 months longevity), the same ratios are made with a high quality Poly Resin coated Nitrogen which has longevity of 5-6 months. This 100% durable coated Poly Resin fertiliser will release Nitrogen slowly promoting steady growth.  Each ratio contains a good proportion of fast release to give a good response and start up.
